Most students choose to take the twelve week course while the attend the school. In addition to covering canine behavior and obedience, training students learn Client and Canine Evaluation, Behavior Identification & Modification Training, In Kennel Training, Group and Private Lesson Operations, Training Management & Public Relations, Introduction to Specific Odor Detection Training, Introduction to Search & Rescue Training and Competitive Obedience for AKC, Sporting Events and Agility. You will also learn about Identification and Correction of Severe Behavior Problems, Introduction to Protection and Police K-9 Training, Introduction to Assistance Dog Training, Advanced Scent Detection and Certification Requirements, Kennel Operations and Management, Public Relations, Legal Issues and Business Practices and Conducting Public Group Classes and Private Lessons.
